Hack of the Day: Android users "How to free up space on your Phone to reduce lagging"

We are familiar with how this works, when you want to download a new app and your android phone keeps saying not enough space, even when you have up to 1gig and the app is like 35mb and also when you're operating your phone and it starts hanging and your apps keep restarting
Here is how to free up space on your android phone and to reduce lagging (hanging)
  • Clear cache. Settings > app manager > menu > sort by size > click app > click clear cache. Repeat for all the large apps.
  • Free up app space. Settings > app manager > menu > sort by size > click app >click move to SD card.
  • Now that you've freed space and moved apps to SD, phone lagging will be reduced significantly. You welcome.

Rich Kids, Mtcheeew

If one is not careful, you can drift from all your values and morals in this town it’s so easy because the competition is in the air we breathe, everybody wants to be their own definition of successful; we want to be respected so we chase money because money brings respect. Some of us that have it rough will hate, envy even avoid the rich kids in this town who have never had to worry about money since they were born because their parents have stolen all the ones we are supposed to hustle for.

Monday Inspiration: 8 Ways to Be More Confident: Live the Life of Your Dreams

“With realization of one’s own potential & self confidence in one’s ability, one can build a better world.” ~Dalai Lama

For the vast majority of my life I didn’t believe I could do most of the things I wanted to do.
I knew I wanted to be in a relationship, but I feared that if I got into one I’d do something to mess it up.
I wanted to perform on Broadway, but even moving to New York City didn’t give me the courage to audition.
I wanted to be a writer, but I thought it was far too difficult to get published and therefore didn’t even try until my late twenties.
Maybe you’ve never been as unsure of yourself as I used to be, but you can likely relate to that feeling of wanting to do something but feeling terrified to start. This not only limits your potential in life; it also minimizes your ability to make a positive impact on the world around you.
There’s a lot that goes into overcoming those fears. You may need to challenge limiting beliefs formed years ago, or take yourself out of a situation where other people undermine your abilities. One thing that will definitely help is working on your confidence.
Not sure if confidence can be learned? I asked this question on the Tiny Buddha Facebook page to see what readers had to say and then used some of their responses to shape the steps outlined below:

Friday Road Trips: Episode 2

Unlike many of my contemporaries, who had of course experimented with a wide variety of illegal substances albeit during their teenage years, I suppose I must’ve been about thirty when I tried cannabis for the first time, though prior to this I had always been very much against the idea of using drugs, no matter how apparently benign or how supposedly beneficial those drugs might be.

The fact was that my wife had for many years suffered from various back problems, in particular she’d underwent some major surgery on her back several years previously which, though of some initial assistance in alleviating her pain to more manageable levels, she continued to require the use of several prescription painkillers, namely dihydrocodeine, ibuprofen (super strength), and one or two others the names of which I forget now but all of which, even in combination with copious quantities of red wine, failed to produce any of the desired results, namely to take away the awful pain in her back.

No be oyibo man thing o; How to deal with Depression 1

Suffering from depression means more than just dealing with a bad week or even a bad month. Depression is a weakening condition that can make it impossible for you to enjoy your daily existence. If you are plagued with feelings of overwhelming sadness, loneliness, worthlessness, and cannot imagine that things will get any better, then you may be suffering from depression. If you want to know how to overcome your depression and enjoy your life again, follow these steps:

"Abeg Aboki slow down, I no dey rush"

Bike men in Abuja are always high. Walahi it’s so bad I couldn’t even give some intro speech like I always do, I had to dive right into my point. Bros, abi u no dey see how them dey drive?
Sometimes you go dey wonder why they drive anyhow (if you have a car, shift small), you will be wondering "abi this okada man no value him life? "Silently saying in your head "I cover myself with the blood of Jesus" omoh it’s not funny. Well now you know why they do.

NYSC in Abuja Part 2: Accommodation

Even though the government claims to have Corpers lodges, the few that are available are made up mostly of old buildings with appalling facilities with close to zero maintenance in some remote location, the roads less likely to be tarred and water na under probability.

Hack of the Day: Chewing Gum Catastrophe

31 Clothing Tips Every Girl Should Know

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a chewing gum casualty (stuck in my hair once in 3rd grade), but just knowing that it could strike at any time is a good reason to know this tip on how to easily remove it from clothes and other fabric — ICE! The idea is to get the gum as cold as possible. This hardens it and makes it easier to just scrape off. This trick also works for furniture and hair. Good to know!

Why I Hate Abuja Drivers

I think it’s safe to say that at least 75% of the people in Abuja have cars, if you include taxi drivers e fit enter 80%. As cars dey everywhere so also stupid drivers full everywhere.
In Abuja the drivers are mostly arrogant, impatient people wey no sabi drive aswear asin it’s so bad maybe it’s mainly because some of them didn't have to work to get the money to buy the car like the rich kids, that's why they drive anyhow blaming it on good road.

Hack of the day: How to take a hard dump peacefully

Abeg Una sabi that kind shit wet dey like purging for your belle but to come out na like admission list? Well me too.
Make I just help Una small for free
If u dey on top toilet and the thing no gree comot, just breathe deeply in and out like 5times and walahi like magic it will flow like you just ate Yoruba pepper soup.

P.S: If your shit smell na die, abeg go buy laxative make you no talk say na me kill you.
Did it work? It worked for me though. If it didn't then bros I hail o.

Talk is Cheap, Sex is cheaper!!!

The truth is more bitter than alomo but I will say it.
One of the easiest things to get in Abuja is sex, it is not only cheap but it’s overly available at any time and place. Some at a cost, some for free, some even "without" (if you know, you know). In fact any type you want is here, threesomes, gay, lesbian, e full everywhere.
Here the rich men are the sugar daddy's, the rich women have boy toys, the rich men's daughters pay some broke men that don't have pride for sex, the rich men's sons are looking for osho free because they are cute.

Monday Inspiration: Don't give up

When you feel like giving up (For those who believe in God)

Be honest with God about your feelings. It’s in the Bible, Psalm 13:1-2, NIV. “How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?  How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?”
God has promised strength when we need it. It’s in the Bible, Colossians 1:11-12, NKJV. “Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.”
Giving up often causes us to miss the best God has to offer. It’s in the Bible, 2 Corinthians 4:16-17, NKJV. “Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory"
When our hearts condemn us, we should not give up. It’s in the Bible, 1 John 3:19-20, NKJV. “And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.”

Road Trips Episode 1: For all my junkie brothers and sisters una well done o

Hello, my name is Daniel, and I would like to tell you about my first experience with the recreational drug Marijuana. I’m now writing this after having smoked Marijuana about six times, spaced over three or four weeks. I wanted to talk about the first experience in particular because of it’s effects on me, and how it changed my views on reality and this experience we go through known as life. As well as perhaps a reference for the Marijuana experience.

First, let me tell you a little about myself, where I am, and the settings I was in, and general settings I’m in now, so let me just give you a little summery. I’m fifteen years of age (nearly sixteen), and live here, where I attend school (my first Marijuana experience was during the summer, no school). I’ve meditated on and off throughout my life, and have studied Philosophy, Computer Sciences (Game Design, Programming, Web Design, Hardware, so on), Physics, and other topics that have sparked my interest. My sister teaches English, and my brother works various jobs, and aspires to be a Biochemical Engineer. He’s ten years older than I, and the one who exposed me to Marijuana. My Grandmother’s house, where my experience took place, is only a short walking distance away. My brother has a room upstairs where we partake of the drug.
