#TBT: No Be Only Single, na Album

We all want that special someone, that person made for us that will just take our breathe away and complete us. It's not easy finding the one but we try our best anyways. If you were single before you came into Abuja, have you found the one yet? or have you joined the countless people looking? The honest truth is to find that perfect somebody might be possible in other places but in Abuja, it is impossicant (naija way of saying e no fit happen). Here bae's are almost like air, "we know say e dey there but we no dey see am". The women are looking for ATM(All The Money- from men), the men are chasing easy sex and money through different ways and looking to be able to afford that G wagon and service apartment in Maitama for bragging rights, so as you can see no one has time for commitment.
Here if you meet a guy and he says hes single, it means either of these things:

Why People are Suicidal

The one question everyone has asked without exception, that they ache to have answered more than any other, is simply: why? Why did their friend, child, parent, spouse, or sibling take their own life? Even when a note explaining the reasons is found, lingering questions usually remain: yes, they felt enough despair to want to die, but why did they feel that? A person's suicide often takes the people it leaves behind by surprise (only accentuating survivor's guilt for failing to see it coming).
People who've survived suicide attempts have reported wanting not so much to die as to stop living, a strange dichotomy but a valid one nevertheless. If some in-between state existed, some other alternative to death, I suspect many suicidal people would take it. For the sake of all those reading this who might have been left behind by someone's suicide, I wanted to describe how I was trained to think about the reasons people kill themselves. They're not as intuitive as most think.
In general, people try to kill themselves for six reasons:

Yoruba Men in Abuja

I remember in my university, one guy in my department called Tunde, he was so cute mehn asin the crushing was hard af, girls were always tripping but no one dared come close, the guys mouth odor was like soak away, asin it was like the mouth odor now permeated into his clothes because my dear the body odor that followed was unbearable, once he's in class, everyone knows, you didn’t even need to see him to tick his attendance, his BO answered on his behalf, it was so bad, if he opened his mouth to tell you whatsup up close, just forget it because the smell will stick to your nose for the rest of the day.  And he had a gf lmao I con dey reason how dem dey kiss.

The Orgasm Gap: Simple Truth and Sexual Solutions.

Plain & Simple: The orgasm gap refers to the fact that in heterosexual sexual encounters, men have more orgasm than women.

Statistical Details: In one study examining about 800 college students, a 52% orgasm gap was found. That is, 39 percent of women and 91 percent of men said that they usually or always experienced orgasm in partnered sex. This study didn’t ask the context of the sex, but another study(link is external) with 15,000 college students found that the orgasm gap is larger in hookup sex than in relationship sex. Still, in college student committed relationships, there is still a 17% orgasm gap. Strikingly similar statistics were found in a survey (link is external)of about 3,000 single women and men in the U.S. ranging from 18 to 65 years old. When having sex with a familiar partner, women said they have an orgasm 63% of the time; men said 85% of the time. More after the cut.

In Abuja, Money is Bae

Hi everyone, say hello to the award winning thief yet. When I heard 700m naira was found in Diezani's house last year I was shocked now its £13 billion, only one person? you will just be there stealing asin a mother o that's supposed to be kind hearted and see what she can do to help the poor and do the best she can with her position as minister but  will decide to be cold hearted and become a glorified thief because  of selfishness, greed and because you don't want your entire generation to suffer again? That's why I believe dangote is not the richest man in africa, well maybe he's the legal one because the thieves we have in this country ehn, only God can save us. I can't wait for more foul nyash to be exposed, that's why the bible said "the love of money is the root of all evil" and its so true, the things people will do for money is alarming, people like our politicians,  I blame them for their greed because they are already paid well so why steal not even with sympathy but with such cruelty that they don't care.

Abuja Relationship Formula

Kai, may God help this town, I don’t get shocked anymore asin these days I just laugh in my mind and shake my head when I see typical Abuja calculated, reflex induced behavior. Lol asin Aliens have started injecting the #abujasense chips at the back of our heads, might as well just make clones now. Person no fit even trust person whatsup? These days, if person wave, you gats turn check to make sure say na you because everything now na deception. How else will someone who has a brain tell you "my babe must smoke o" or "ask his own gf to have a threesome with his friend" and a relationship is supposed to lead to marriage? Then after she agrees and you useless her life you will now open your 1k Kpomo meat lips and say "you're not wife material". Since when did you become minister of sewing cloth? Thats how much you can't please them o, I dey tell you.  Both men and women here have what love truly means to them so the Abuja Relationship formula is as follows:

Monday Inspiration: Dare to Dream Big

Do it. Dare to dream. Dream big. Dream the details. Imagine the day when your dream comes true. Surround yourself with people who support your dream. In turn, support them in their dreams. In this way, you will succeed. Be willing to sacrifice, and be willing to walk away from those who criticize or distract. Be generous and loving in your pursuits. Lift others up because you know that your biggest assets in this journey are the love and support of those around you. Let go of anyone who tries to hold you back. Do not judge, and do not allow yourself to be judged. Keep your eyes on the prize. It doesn’t matter whether people understand your intentions. It doesn’t matter if you fail in your first attempts. You will fail in your first attempts. The journey will be full of unexpected turns and amazing adventures. Take time to thoroughly enjoy achievements along the way. The biggest dreams are full of the biggest joys, the deepest disappointments and the most adversity. Through it all, keep an unrelenting focus on your goals.

Dear Party Goers and Hosts, This is Categorically For you.

Introduction
Parties are an important way for people to socialize, celebrate and have fun. Whether you are hosting or attending a party it is important to be safe. No one wants their party ruined by drunken behavior, property being damaged, or someone being injured.

People hosting parties in rural and remote communities may need to consider additional issues when planning a party, such as the distance people have to travel to get there. In some areas it is difficult to get people together due to the distances they may have to travel and limited transport options. This can mean that parties are viewed as an opportunity not to be wasted and people may over celebrate by drinking too much alcohol.

This fact sheet outlines some tips that both the host and the people attending the party can use to help them have a safe and enjoyable party.

Insomnia Is a Disease, Here's a Cure for You and Me

                                   photo insomnia1_zpse03b6a10.jpg
Insomnia is a sleep disorder that is characterized by difficulty falling and/or staying asleep. People with insomnia have one or more of the following symptoms:
  • Difficulty falling asleep
  • Waking up often during the night and having trouble going back to sleep
  • Waking up too early in the morning
  • Feeling tired upon waking

Types of Insomnia

There are two types of insomnia: primary insomnia and secondary insomnia.
  • Primary insomnia: Primary insomnia means that a person is having sleep problems that are not directly associated with any other health condition or problem.
  • Secondary insomnia: Secondary insomnia means that a person is having sleep problems because of something else, such as a health condition (like asthma, depression, arthritis, cancer, or heartburn); pain; medication they are taking; or a substance they are using (like alcohol).

Trippy Friday: Episode 5

It was an idle Tuesday night sometime in September and a few friends and I decided to celebrate our friend Sean's birthday. Nothing too extreme, we spent a few hours at a local hookah club just smoking flavored tobacco and getting a light buzz then moved the party to my roommate and I's apartment where we drank a minimal amount of alcohol. We packed a glass bowl of weed and between about 5 people passed it while playing video games. I was lightly buzzed by the time the place started to clear out. The plan at this point was to get our friend Sean extremely wasted as our gift to him, but he dipped out on us leaving only my roommate, Hughie, and I with a lot of weed to smoke.

A few weeks prior to this night, Hughie had made a 'gravity' bong out of a large glass bottle which he was anxious to show off to Sean. Excuse me for the quotations on 'gravity', but I've been smoking pot since I was 12 years old (I'm 20 now) and until Hughie moved in I had never experienced a homemade smoking apparatus.
