10 Tricks to make losing weight easier
To successfully lose weight and keep it off, eating well and exercising are key—the “secret,” of course, is to eat less and move more But even the most committed dieters can benefit from a few tricks to boost their weight-loss efforts. Here are 10 easy, everyday diet tips to add to your weight-loss arsenal.
1. Slow down
When eating, it takes 20 minutes for your body to register fullness. And according to a University of Rhode Island study, you can save 70 calories by eating slowly over about half an hour versus eating in under 10 minutes. If you ate more slowly at every meal, that would translate into losing about two pounds a month. An easy way to slow down your eating is to put your fork down between bites—or consider using chopsticks.
2. Ditch the top slice of bread
Opting to eat your sandwich open-face instantly erases 100 calories.
3. Use a smaller plate
As serving sizes have increased, so have plate sizes—and seeing appropriately sized portions swimming on a giant plate can make you feel like you're not getting much food. Put your main meal on a 7-inch plate, which is about the size of a salad plate or child-size plate. Choose a 1-cup dessert or cereal bowl instead of a soup bowl, a 6-ounce wineglass rather than a goblet. When you’re eating out, ask for an extra salad plate and transfer the proper-size portions of your food onto it when you’re served your entree. Then ask the waiter to take away and wrap up the rest. This woman's porn addiction almost ruined her life
Porn addiction is a very real thing and can have just as dire consequences as an addiction to drugs or alcohol. One woman decided to share her struggle with porn to raise awareness of this lesser known illness.
Twenty-nine-year-old Jessie Maegan's interest in porn began harmlessly enough. Her boyfriend at the time encouraged her to start watching it with him to spice up their sex life. She was apprehensive at first, but after trying it out and seeing what great effects it had on their physical relationship, she was hooked.Maegan told the Daily Mail, "It was really exciting and definitely did the trick. I felt like a naughty schoolgirl. We had sex several times that night and I can honestly say it was the best sex I'd ever had." This initial experience was like a drug in and of itself, of which Maegan and her boyfriend could not seem to get enough. From that night on, they started watching porn together more and more regularly, until it became a nightly fix. (More after the cut)

Depression and Suicide Risk 2
For part 1 click here
Depression and suicide risk
Depression
is a major risk factor for suicide. The deep despair and hopelessness that goes
along with depression can make suicide feel like the only way to escape the
pain. If you have a loved one with depression, take any suicidal talk or
behavior seriously and learn to recognize the warning signs.
Warning signs of suicide include:
- Talking about killing or harming one’s self
- Expressing strong feelings of hopelessness or being trapped
- An unusual preoccupation with death or dying
- Acting recklessly, as if they have a death wish (e.g. speeding through red lights)
- Calling or visiting people to say goodbye
- Getting affairs in order (giving away prized possessions, tying up loose ends)
- Saying things like “Everyone would be better off without me” or “I want out”
- A sudden switch from being extremely depressed to acting calm and happy (more after the cut)

In 2015 to find a faithful man is to discover diamond in your village because it’s just impossible like that. Faithful girls for where? It’s amazing how we are quick to throw away our values these days and we thought the previous generations were terrible lool. And it all boils down to chasing money and not being content, wanting what you can't have, people will do whatever they like, not caring who they hurt because its normal now. It’s so easy for us not to trust one another, first it starts with accusations and the other person getting pushed into it out of spite. In my opinion this would get way worse. (more after the cut)

Monday Inspiration: How to Plan Your Life Your Way and Succeed, Continued 2
For the first part Click Here
Step 2: Setting Smaller Goals
Once
you have set your lifetime goals, set a five-year plan of smaller goals that
you need to complete if you are to reach your lifetime plan.
Then
create a one-year plan, six-month plan, and a one-month plan of progressively
smaller goals that you should reach to achieve your lifetime goals. Each of
these should be based on the previous plan.
Then
create a daily To-Do List of
things that you should do today to work towards your lifetime goals.
At
an early stage, your smaller goals might be to read books and gather
information on the achievement of your higher level goals. This will help you
to improve the quality and realism of your goal setting.
Finally
review your plans, and make sure that they fit the way in which you want to
live your life.

11 Signs You Party Too Much
At
some point in their lives some people find out that partying is fun.
Hanging
out with friends having a few drinks, shots, bowls, hits, etc., is a way for
some people to let off steam.
Where
is the line of fun and dysfunctional?
1. Persistence
You’re
spending more time engaging in your habit over a longer period of time than you
wanted to. Nobody wants to be the “old burn out” at the party.
2. Can’t cut back
You’ve
tried to cut back, but you end up right where you were yesterday or last week.
This also applies to, “If I drink one beer I’m fine. If I drink two beers, the
flood gates are open.
3. Obsession
You’re
spending a lot of time thinking about, talking about, getting ready to or
recovering from parties. You own several T-shirts with alcohol advertising or
pot leaves on them. You know the alcohol "rep girls" by first name.
You’re the one who people call to find out where the party is on most days of
the week. You have a Web page dedicated to all your party pictures.(more after the cut)

Abuja Girls and Accent of Life
Do you know that
feeling when you're listening to Cool FM or maybe Love FM on the radio and you
hear the female presenter talking and you just get angry for no reason because
it’s obvious she's faking the British accent and sometimes it sounds American
even Hispanic. If it doesn't annoy you, well it annoys me so much. When I hear
it I just feel like calling to say "Please it’s not by force". (more after the cut)
Trippy Friday: I'll Never Take My Mind For Granted Again (Say No To Drugs)
I’ve been smoking hashish for around 4 and 1/2 years,
not smoking it much until the last 12 months in which I've smoked a lot in
comparison to the other years. On avg I’ll definitely have a joint or 2 every 5
days in a week, or sometimes have a session depending on my mood. Sometimes I'd
just buy a block (20 joints) and keep smoking it till it’s gone. Out of all the
times I’ve been stoned, 99% of the time the stone was fantastic. Mellow,
chilled, happy and cheery. Sometimes I'd get the odd paranoid feelings, but
nothing in comparison to what I experienced in my last session.
It was 3am, had been up for 24 hours or so, just got a block of cannabis resin about 5 hours before hand. My mate and I were in my house, having a smallish session. Did something like 4-5 joints, really really strong resin; but wasn’t sure if it was because I was awake for so long. Anyways, we were both enjoying the stone, made us both mellow and gave us the giggles. Giggles lasted for about 40 mins, found everything and anything funny. Then a few mins later the stone started to feel 'deeper' getting more and more stoned as time went on. (more after the cut)

If you've been here a long time and are familiar with the clubs, please what’s the best one in this town and why?
