Nothing is more sweet than realizing its Friday and
you get to work half day because your boss decided to be nice, the realization
that yet another much awaited weekend has begun gives us some sort of high and
its quite amazing until its Sunday evening lol.
Friday everywhere the clubs, lounges, bars, gardens
are parked with people getting to relax after a stressful week of doing
basically close to nothing at their Abuja jobs, and it’s just mentally
stressful. Here it’s like all the clubs are on Adetokunbo Ademola in Wuse2, as
in most of them for real, (I know Gwarimpa people will start arguing). As per
weekend, people turn up at various clubs and of course you will meet all kinds
of people.
In Abuja clubs, you see all sorts of things, let me
give you the load down, here are the types of people you meet at the clubs:
- There are guys who don’t even have legit jobs but hustle one way or the other all just to come and spend lavishly in the clubs so they can have this rep and respect and also score steady VIP.
- There are guys who know they don't have but want to impress anyway so they will show up at the club, order ace of spade or Hennessy XO, then leave it unopened on their table just for girls to see and come around, then maybe order shots, shisha or cigarette and be smoking then after partying, they return them.
- There are guys who I'll call "SHOT callers" these ones can only afford shots so they will take as many as possible with the lime and salt make e no be like say them too no dey high.
- The ones that are annoying are the ones that feel they have rep already but are broke so they'll buy drinks and put it on their tabs and then spend their time working to pay off these debts that could have been avoided. some of these guys even get embarrassed by the club management when they are delaying payment. Some guys also come to hunt for fish for the night either for free or for a fee.
- As for the girls, 80% won't dance, they'll just be chair dancing and looking around or pressing their phone. Some are there to look for customers, some looking for guys they will pay to shag them, others just coming to drink the night away like some married women I know.
- Some girls come to chase other girls, they won’t let you rest, if some guys aren’t sharp, they will steal their babe sef. Some girls (The rich ones) pop bottles like the guys or even better than the guys.
- Some girls come to the club to get as many contacts as thy can from random cute or not so cute men who look rich.
