Trippy Friday: One Full Week of Straight Hell! (MDMA aka Molly and Meth)
I had gone up to my boyfriend’s college to visit him
Valentine’s Day weekend on Friday night. We had been doing MDMA on a pretty
regular basis, and this weekend was to be no different. But drugs could not be
found at the college so we took the 2 hour drive back to my hometown, borrowing
my friend bill's car, to pick up some e and then go back. When we got to my
friend's house who was hooking us up with the E, I was told that there was meth
around. I was scared, I had never done meth and I knew that I was going to get
the chance to that night. (more after the cut)

#TBT Abuja Post: Talk is Cheap, Sex is cheaper!!!
The truth is more bitter
than alomo but I will say it.
One of the easiest
things to get in Abuja is sex, it is not only cheap but it’s overly available
at any time and place. Some at a cost, some for free, some even
"without" (if you know, you know). In fact any type you want is here,
threesomes, gay, lesbian, e full everywhere.
Here the rich men
are the sugar daddy's, the rich women have boy toys, the rich men's daughters
pay some broke men that don't have pride for sex, the rich men's sons are
looking for osho free because they are cute.(more after the cut)
ABL Health: 10 Relaxation Techniques That Zap Stress Fast
Relax. You deserve it, it's good
for you, and it takes less time than you think.
You don't need a spa weekend or a retreat. Each of these
stress-relieving tips can get you from OMG to om in less than 15 minutes.
1. Meditate
A few minutes of practice per day
can help ease anxiety.
“Research suggests that daily meditation
may alter the brain’s
neural pathways, making you more resilient to stress,” says psychologist
Robbie Maller Hartman, PhD, a Chicago health and wellness
coach.
It's simple. Sit up straight with
both feet on the floor. Close your eyes. Focus your
attention on reciting -- out loud or silently -- a positive mantra such as “I
feel at peace” or “I love myself.” Place one hand on your belly to sync the
mantra with your breaths. Let any distracting thoughts float by like clouds.(more after the cut)

How to Develop and Strengthen Your Self-Control
Self-control is the ability to control
impulses and reactions, and is another name for self-discipline.
It is not some kind of negative and limiting
behavior, as some people might think. When self-control is used wisely and with
common sense, it becomes one of the most important tools for self improvement
and for achieving success.
Self control is vital for overcoming
obsessions, fears, addictions, and any kind of unsuitable behavior. It puts you
in control of your life, your behavior, and your reactions. It improves your
relationships, develops patience and tolerance, and is an important tool for
attaining success and happiness. (more after the cut)

Monday Inspiration: Think Big, Dream Even Bigger
However "big" you're
thinking right now, it's probably too small.
It's important to have big dreams
for your future. After all, failing to plan is planning to fail. So if you
can't think big about your future, you're not going to have a very big future.
Big, of course, means a dream that takes you farther than where you are today.
Success can be defined in many ways,
and I'm not telling you how to define it. I'm simply saying to take your
definition of success and raise the bar on it.
One thing I've learned over the
years is that when you are thinking big, in reality you're thinking small.
There's always a bigger big.
When I was in my mid-20s, I thought
I was thinking big. But when I look back now, I realize, "Wow, was I
thinking small! Too bad I wasn't thinking bigger. I would have accomplished
more, faster." (more after the cut)

How to Experience God When You Feel Like a Nobody, Going Nowhere
Scripture: Psalm 139
Do you feel lonely, depressed or maybe just
numb? Kinda bland, like you’re a nobody going nowhere? And down deep, you don’t
think anyone cares about you? If so, join Chip as he shares how you can
experience God when you feel like a nobody going nowhere.
How do you experience God when you feel like
a nobody who is going nowhere? God’s got a plan. 1988, I had a two-year span of
feeling like a nobody going nowhere.
I had made a five-year commitment to be at
Country Bible Church and I finished my schooling, and we started out with about
thirty-five people and God blessed and the church grew.
But in year number six, my commitment was
over and, “Okay, God, well what do You want to do with my life?” And I loved it
and the people were awesome and they loved me and they loved my family and it
couldn’t have been a better place to live except I went to seminary after going
through more school than I wanted to, to be a missionary. (more after the cut)
Trippy Friday: The Police Busted the Rapture (Mushrooms & Ecstasy)
For a long time I had always heard great things
about hippie flipping. I've done countless pills, and I've shroomed several
times. But I never tried them together! Well the first time I finally tried it
was my last. The ecstasy was great, especially since I hadn't dropped in
months. But it was the shrooms that made me totally and completely flip out.
This experience has changed me in a eerie, strange way I can only attempt to
explain.
It was a beautiful weekend in June, and I was at an awesome four-day camp out somewhat near Mammoth Lakes, California. The people throwing the party and the friends I came with were some of the most awesome people I've ever met. Sparing the details, the second night I had one Ecstasy pill and an eighth of Mushrooms. I wasn't sure if I wanted to hippie-flip, so first I just took half of my pill. I thought I'd take it from there. (more after the cut)

ABL Health: Intractable Headache – The pain in Your Head that Just Won’t Quit
Intractable headache is "doctor
speak" for that headache that just doesn’t seem to go away, not matter
what you and your doctor do. The
headache may be Migraine or another kind of headache, or a combination of two
or more different headache types, but regardless of the cause, it is a
relentless, seemingly untreatable headache.
What is going on in your head when
the pain is so resistant to treatment? It seems as if EVERYTHING seems to
trigger the headache and nothing seems to help. Surprisingly, we don’t have a
complete understanding of what changes are taking place in the brain of someone
in this situation. We think that the brain of someone with constant,
treatment-resistant pain actually processes information differently from the
way people who don’t have constant pain.
There is very exciting research going on looking into these changes, but
we don’t have definite answers yet. Like a car engine, you have to understand
how it works before you can understand what is wrong with it, and you have to
understand what is wrong with it before you can fix it. So that is where we are
in terms of the big picture. (more after the cut)

What Guys Really Think About Sex on The First Date
How soon is too soon? Guys get honest
with us about sex on the first date.
Times have changed, ladies, and with it, the dating rules. We're embarking on a
new kind of relationship and with it, a newer type of woman. But as all the
traditional rules change, should the sex?
How soon is too soon — or is it okay to ask
for it on the first night? We asked the dudes in our lives to dish on when they
think it's appropriate to do the deed — and their answers, well, they'll
surprise you.(more after the cut)

Who I Am, Who I Was, And Who I Will Be
“Life is not out to get you despite
the things you have been through.”
Do you know what depression is? Is
it just another word for sadness? Sure, it’s that feeling you get when your
childhood dog passes away, or that sting in your heart when the person you love
most turns their back on you. But what is it really? Most people only view
“depression” as a temporary feeling, a state of sadness, but what if I told you
it was more than that; more than a feeling of sadness? What if it was a
constant state of isolation and pain, like you had the weight of a thousand
bricks sitting upon your chest and not one person noticed? Would it still be
considered a feeling or something more? These are questions I asked myself over
and over again while I tried to figure out why I was so unhappy. Depression, to
an extent, is no longer considered a feeling, it is a disorder. But of course,
nobody ever wants to think much less admit they have a disorder so they pretend
it’s not there. They go on with their melancholy lives and deal with the pain.
This had to be my biggest mistake. Pretending nothing was wrong. (more after the cut)
8 Tips to Improve Your Self-Control
Whether you call it willpower,
discipline, or self-control, regulating your own impulses--particularly in the
face of tempting diversions--is really hard to do.
It’s also something I could stand to
work on. Perseverance I have in spades; when I make up my mind to get something
done, it will get done. But along the way, I often find myself either standing
in front of the open fridge, or realizing, too late, that I’ve lost half an hour of my life to YouTube. Again.
Other noble tasks that strain our
self-control? According to comments from Savvy listeners on Facebook, our self-control
fails include keeping up with housework, getting to bed at a decent hour, sticking to a
healthy lifestyle, resisting that impulse buy, being nice to difficult people, getting out the
door on time, and staying clean, sober, or smoke-free. (more after the cut)
Relationship Problem: Money (How to Solve it)
Money problems can start even before
the wedding vows are exchanged. They can stem, for example, from the expenses
of courtship or from the high cost of a wedding. The National Foundation for
Credit Counseling (NFCC) recommends that couples who have money woes take a
deep breath and have a serious conversation about finances.(more after the cut)
